THE garden waste and thick card collection service which operates from various locations throughout West Devon has been re-arranged for this Saturday, January 23, at the following locations:

Yelverton (Leg O Mutton car park), 9am to 1pm; Peter Tavy (junction of lane to Peter Tavy Inn), 2pm to 4pm; Northlew (the Square), 9am to noon; Bratton Clovelly (parish hall car park), 1pm to 4pm; South Zeal (Recreational Ground), 9am to noon; Hatherleigh (market car park), 1pm to 4pm.

The Bring Service takes garden waste including grass cuttings, branches up to the thickness of a wrist, hedge trimmings, weeds, plants, leaves, twigs and even Christmas trees, as well as bulky corrugated card. These should be suitably bagged – old compost sacks are ideal – and the crew will happily help empty and return them to use again.

As the service operates in communal areas, please do not just leave waste at the site.
