OKEHAMPTON Community Garden will be opening its gates on Wednesday, August 15 between 10.30am until 3.30pm for a free family 'drop in' day.
Participants may learn how to make 'stinging nettle string' with experienced outdoor educationalist Richard Irvine.
Those who go along are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy a family lunch from noon to 1pm.
Following lunch there will be the opportunity to walk around the Community Garden and enjoy some other outdoor learning experiences with Richard.

Children under the age of 8 need to be accompanied by an adult.
