OKEHAMPTON Specsavers has announced that it is focusing its fundraising efforts on Children's Hospice South West this year.

The store is encouraging donations from the local community to the charity, which helps children who are living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in the South West of England.

Store director Karen Reader said: 'We're inviting Okehampton residents to help make a difference and consider making a donation when they visit the store.'

Staff hope to raise £300 this year.
