NOW in its sixth year, Red Spider Company continues to follow a tradition of giving its audience something a bit out of the ordinary.
Hot on the heels of their seasonal offering, Come into my Parlour, the Spiders now bring you sheer unadulterated comedy in the shape of ?Nuts in May? ? two very entertaining one-act plays .
The plays are being performed at the Victory Hall, Lewdown tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday at 7.30pm.
Firmly convinced that visiting time at the local hospital is not exactly a bundle of fun?
Then ?From Three to Four? by Brian Burton will make you think again.
Anyone can see from the calm, seamless way in which Red Spider performs, that behind the scenes all is sweetness and light.
Well, ?Dress Rehearsal? by Alec Baron, strips away the facade and gives you the naked, hilarious truth. And if all this isn?t enough the Spiders will give a well-earned respite from rib-tickling laughter in the shape of a pleasant musical interlude.
Red Spider Company is busy planning an exciting programme of productions over the next two and a half years ? leading up to a third community play.
At the moment there are no details available but the company is adamant it will be something of very special significance for the community. It will give all groups and individuals the chance to make a contribution.
