THE greasy pole, crabbing competitions, tug o' war and many other fun and team games will be held on land, in mud and on the water at Bere Ferrers Watersports Day.
The annual event will take place on Saturday, June 22 around the quay and all proceeds will go to village projects.
The fun starts at 2pm with mud events, with high water at 5pm. Local teams will compete and entertain, with a barbecue, bar, snacks, ice cream and other stalls throughout the afternoon.
This year there will be a children's play area, which includes a bouncy castle.
From 6.30pm there will be music on the quay, including Mr Styx, a disco, a local band and Idle Hands. The day will end with a firework display. For more details contact Bev Slaughter on 01822 841660.
