TAVISTOCK College has again arranged a packed week of community activities to keep local youngsters entertained throughout October half-term.
The brand new Tavistock Community Sports Centre will host exciting group activities from October 26 to 30, giving children the chance to play their favourite sports such as cricket and basketball, or try something new like street dance or self-defence.
Barry Mountstevens, sports centre manager, said: 'The holiday programme is open to everyone aged eight to 16-years-old, whether or not they attend Tavistock College.
'Young people will be able to sample a range of activities, from football, tennis and fencing to cooking, Wii Sports and drama — all in the surrounds of the college's excellent new facilities.'
The sessions will be split into morning and afternoon slots, with supervised lunch breaks for youngsters who want to participate in both.
