SIXTH Form students at Callington Community College put their organisational skills into action recently, to host a 'Rag Week' to raise money for the college's four house charities.

There was a variety of events organised by the students and all activities were well supported, including 'slipper slinging', followed by a fayre, name the dog and chubby bunnies competitions, cakes for sale, a penalty shoot out, a 'slave auction' and a karaoke session. The week also included male teachers having their legs waxed, a rock concert and an improvisation concert.

The Rag Week raised £615 for the four charities — Children's Hospice South West, Centre of Challenge, Free the Children and ShelterBox.
