THE Bank Holiday weekend will see two fun days at Ravenscroft Nursing and Residential Home, Yelverton, to raise funds for residents' activities.

The aim is to use the funds raised to complete a pond and vegetable plot in the garden, both of which have been worked on voluntarily by the staff and their partners in their own time.

The fun days will include a tombola, cake stall, plant stall, car wash and more. And on the Monday there will be music by 'Poslips'.

The event runs from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday and Monday, May 30 and 31 and all are welcome. The home is in Old Crapstone Road.
