DESPITE poor weather, the crowds who attended Yelverton Rotary Club Fete last Saturday enjoyed the wide variety of games, stalls and demonstrations.
Lion Ross Dent said numbers were down on last year due to the weather, but thanked everyone for their support. Attractions included archery, coconut shies, stalls, a sea cadets demonstration and a chip-pan fire demonstration by Yelverton Fire Brigade.
Ross said approximately £900 was made on the day, to be distributed in the local community.
