ANYONE in the Okehampton area who has a box of old postcards, stamps, coins, cigarette cards or medals gathering dust in their attics could be the owners of an unexpected windfall. Auctioneers and valuers Warwick and Warwick will be in the town next week and are offering residents the opportunity to have their collections valued. A spokesman for the company said: ?Many people do not realise that collections of old picture postcards can be quite valuable, especially animated street scenes with trams and early motorcars, and industrial views, such as coalmines.? Anyone who would like their collections valued free of charge should go along to the White Hart Hotel in Fore Street on Monday November 26, between 11am and 3pm.
