AN unfortunate handball decision resulted in a penalty.
Efford smashed the ball in but Frankie Foster managed to get her hands to it. It fell back to an Efford striker who tapped it in.
Another goal was conceded before half-time.
In the second half Becks Rose and Robyn Hammond began to work the ball up and Nicole Murray was strong in midfield. Rose took a long shot which soared into the top of the net. Murray and Davey took the ball upfield and Bassett held strong at the back. After a through ball Rose slotted in to the corner net and put Tavistock into the lead.
Pressure was put on the defence and failing to clear the ball resulted in Efford equalising.

AMY Campbell shone on the right wing and her crosses into the box put Lipson under constant pressure.
Tavistock went one up when Kim Davey got her shot on target.
Chloe Bassett took charge in midfield and Tavistock worked the ball up patiently. The back three of Meg Blackmore, Joy Page and Sarah Bassett gave Robynne Honey in goal a quiet match.
Heidi Davies put Tavistock further into the lead. Davey shot from a distance into the net and ten minutes from the end scored her 50th goal of the season. The girls have now scored 116 goals this season.
On Saturday they meet Staddiscombe in a cup match.

TAVISTOCK started strongly and Aisha Macauley shot from near the corner flag to hit the post. It rebounded to Rhianne Parsons whose shot hit the bar.
Della Maloney in goal made some brave saves.
The second half saw Tavistock defending well with Ruth Cole making excellent tackles. New signing Katie O?Leary made her presence felt with strong challenges in midfield.
Callington kept the pressure up and a goalmouth scramble saw a tap-in goal for them.
Holly Krotke looked strong in midfield and took the ball upfield time after time but again Tavistock were unable to put it away.

Tavistock Girls are a friendly club with trained female football coaches and are always looking for new players. Training is Tuesdays and Fridays, Tavistock sports hall, 5pm to 6pm.
