HURDWICK Golf Club held their mixed open greensomes on Sunday in glorious spring weather.
Entries were received from club members throughout Devon and Cornwall and the winners were Bill and Dawn Phillott, now members at Okehampton Golf Club, but who spent the first five years of their golfing lives as founder members of Hurdwick.
Dawn was lady captain in 1995 and they both obviously remembered how to play the course, finishing with a fine 36 points.

The midweek medal was won by Ray Hurle with a net 65. Tony Pearson was second with 68 and Phil Bryant took third spot with 71. The only two of the day came from Ray Hurle.
