NOT just small change found its way into the Tavistock Lions Club collection during the town's annual carnival procession.

A micro SD computer card was found in one of the collection buckets.

Lions spokesman Steve Grummitt said: I'm not sure what electronic device it has come from but if someone has lost one, they should give me a ring on 01822 615526.'

A total of £2,145 was collected during the parade, which will be added to the other funds raised during carnival week, through activities including a prize draw, dance night, church concert and fun fair rents.

The proceeds will be distributed to deserving charities and organisations and to the carnival procession prize winners.
