MEMBERS of the public are invited to join a weekly walk, organised by West Devon Walk and Talk.
The walkers meet outside Waitrose every Tuesday at 10.30am to enjoy a gentle walk of around 45 minutes. This is for people who want an introduction to walking and a more relaxed stroll.
On Wednesdays walkers meet outside Okehampton Post Office at 10am for a more serious walk of around an hour and a half to two hours. Once a month there is a Sunday walk which starts from the post office at 2pm.
All the walks are free and everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the fresh air and good company, whether it be to stretch legs or a steady power walk.
The walkers head around Okehampton town and to the park, with the more advanced heading out to Abbeyford Woods and occasionally driving to Belstone.
