CAT owners in Okehampton took part in an information evening at the Okement Centre run by the Okeford Veterinary Centre recently, detailing the health concerns owners should be aware of in their senior cats.

Those in attendance were shown a series of presentations, with vets Eleanor Hughes, Mark Bingham, Lennon Foo and veterinary nurses April Luffingham, Ciara Finnigan and Gemma Morley covering a range of topics, from the importance of nutrition and grooming, to looking at conditions that affect older cats.

Owners were also given a tour of the practice to meet members of the team, who demonstrated some of the equipment used to look after cats. The evening ended with a question and answer session over refreshments.

The practice expressed thanks to all those who attended the meeting and look forward to hosting similar client evenings in the future.
