RAF Harrowbeer will be holding an archives open weekend at Michael and Lucy Hayes' Knightstone Tea Rooms over the May bank holiday — April 30, May 1 and 2.
On view will be documents, including the operational record books for Harrowbeer and squadrons based there, plus artefacts and photographs.
Various military vehicles will be there, together with the South West Heritage Aviation Group and other stalls, selling model aircraft, books, toys and games.
Volunteers from the RAF Harrowbeer Interest Group will have their photographic display about the airfield on show and will offer free guided walks around the airfield at 1pm each afternoon.
Visitors will also be able to buy a copy of the group's book on the wartime history of Harrowbeer.
RAF Harrowbeer was operational between 1941 and 1946. It was demolished in 1961, following the decision that it would not become a Plymouth airport.
