AN AUDIENCE of more than 300 children and adults from all over Devon and Cornwall including representatives from Gunnislake Primary School, Gunnislake Pre-School and Harrowbarrow Pre-School, enjoyed Dimson Day Nursery's annual sheep shearing event.

Tim French sheared the sheep accompanied by a very informative commentary by Martin Allison, a Plymouth based Royal Marine just back from six months duty in Afghanistan.

Joanna Humphrey demonstrated spinning and Will Earl engaged the children in farmyard-based drama.
