MORE than 20 children and their parents turned out to celebrate Shrove Tuesday at The Station House in Brentor this week.

Everyone enjoyed games, a pancake race and lunch — stuffed pancakes of course!

The next family event in the village will be an opportunity to bake cakes for Mothering Sunday, March 14, followed by a service at Christchurch at 4pm.
