IN reply to the letter (July 14) regarding Tavistock Town Hall flag, can I please make you aware the as per government directive, the Union Flag was flown at half-mast on Friday, July 8 in respect of London bombing victims. The flag was then flown at full mast on Saturday July 9 and Sunday July 10 as part of VE and VJ day celebrations. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding. David Evans Town Hall manager
