I WRITE in support of the lady complaining about the sale of fireworks (Letters, November 22), though a complete ban of sale to the general public is a bit strong. I would support, having sent an email to the PM to this effect, the banning of selling fireworks to the general public until the day before Bonfire Night. This way, the mis-use of fireworks by a minority of people would be curtailed somewhat. Rob Macormac Cox Tor Road Tavistock
