WITH post-Christmas credit card and winter heating bills rolling in, West Devon's Connect service will be focussing on financial matters at its regular drop in sessions over the coming month.

In keeping with the new format, the Citizens Advice Bureau, Housing and Council Tax and Housing Benefit advisors, Age UK and Devon County Council Family Information Service are among the organisations offering advice and support with finance and benefits on a variety of dates and at different venues throughout the borough.

A Connect advisor will also be at each session, providing information on a wide range of other public services.

For information on which agency is attending which drop in session, check out community magazines and posters at drop in venues, or contact West Devon Borough Council on 01822 813600 or email [email protected]">[email protected] for details.

Dates and venues are: February 1 and 15, Hatherleigh Market, 9.30am–noon; February 4, The Burrow Café, Exbourne, 10am–noon; February 11 and 25, Whiddons Eatery, Chagford, 9.30am–noon; February 12, Bere Ferrers Community Market 10am– noon; February 18, Broadwoodkelly Friday Market, 10.30am–noon.
