CALLINGTON could be cool, according to a group of young people who will be screening a film they've made about their hopes for the town's future today (Thursday). Callington Youth Action Group filmed 'Callington Could Be Cool' in an effort to highlight the aspirations of some of the more than 200 young people living in or near the town. The film includes a trip around Callington from the viewpoint of young people and a heartfelt plea for better facilities and community support. 'Callington Could Be Cool' will be shown at Callington Youth Action Group's annual meeting at 7.30pm in Callington Town Hall. The meeting and film are open to all young people living in the area. Callington Youth Action Group is supported in partnership by Caradon District Council, Cornwall Rural Community Council, Cornwall Youth Service and Callington Town Council.
