FAMILIES in the Milton Abbot area have been enjoying an active summer, thanks to the OCRA Active Villages programme

Two successful fencing sessions with North Tamar Fencing Club in the village hall have been organised by Ellie Carey.

Families from Lamerton, Gulworthy, Lifton and Milton Abbot have had the opportunity to join in with multi-skills and tennis run by Mhairi McCall.

The climbing barn in the village has also been included in the holiday agenda, involving children aged seven to eleven.

The final summer holiday activity is Creative Kidz.

This is a rare opportunity for all aged children and adults to come together for an arts and crafts session in Milton Abbot Village Hall today (Thursday) between 11am and 12.30pm.

There is a small charge for each child or family to cover costs but there is no need to book.This session will include tile painting, junk modelling,sock puppets, painting, clay, colouring, a sculpture competition and more.
