A DAY of advice workshops and demonstrations for anyone interested in range cookers and woodburners is taking place in Winkleigh this weekend.

There will be a large selection of cookers on display and working examples will include a Rayburn wood burning cooker — one of the only working examples in the South West.

Throughout the day, resident experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide invaluable help and guidance for visitors, ensuring they understand which cookers and stoves are most suited to their homes.

The event is being organised by Winkleigh firm Rangemoors at its base at the Airfield.

Gareth Down, Rangemoors managing director, said: 'We are delighted to be able to welcome visitors to enable them to meet our Rayburn experts, who combined offer over 300 years' experience.'

For foodie fans, resident range cooker chef Sue Hosegood will be on hand cooking up some delicious treats for the tasting while giving visitors some hints and tips to getting the very best out of their Rayburn.

Mr Down said: 'We are welcoming anyone needing friendly advice and guidance, whether purchasing range cookers and stoves for the first time or those looking to replace their current units.'

The advice day at Rangemoors will begin at 10am and will last until 3pm — all welcome.
