SPAR entered two teams in a Celebrity Golf Day in Cornwall ? and father and son John and Mark Gillett from Callington were among the players taking part. John and Mark, who own Gillett?s of Callington, the multiple Spar store group with shops throughout Devon and Cornwall, are pictured (left and second left) with comedian Shep Woolley and family friend Noel Scott. The Celebrity Golf Day at St. Mellion Golf and Country Club attracted 120 players and raised £20,000 throughout the day. Proceeds will go to the Lord?s Taverners and the Primrose Appeal for Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
