POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision at Kelly Bray near Callington.

Police, fire and ambulance services attended the collision on Launceston Road, between Kelly Bray and Bray Shop, at around 12.30pm on Friday, November 28.

The collision involved five vehicles, a blue Landrover Discovery, a red Mitsubishi Lancer, a red Volvo tipper lorry, a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Fiesta.

The driver of the Landrover, a 67-year-old man from the Launceston area, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the lorry received minor injuries and the occupants of the other vehicles were uninjured.

The road remained closed for eight and a half hours while a thorough investigation of the scene took place.
