A 23-YEAR-old motorcyclist was killed after being involved in a crash on the A386, near Yelverton on Monday evening. The crash occured at 7.20pm, when the man?s white Yamaha R6 bike was in collision with a red Ford Transit van at the junction of Golf Links Lane and the main A386. The motorcyclist, Mark Geoffrey Harwood of Meavy, suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Transit van was uninjured. The road was closed for about seven hours while police carried out investigations into the crash.
