DURING the development phase of the Burrator Historic and Natural Environment Project, a large number of people requested activities where parents can learn with their children, therefore South West Lakes Trust will be hosting a Family Wildlife Watch Session this Sunday.

Activities will include a sensory scavenger hunt, a nature navigator trail and hot chocolate and marshmallows. The event, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Burrator Reservoir, is suitable for children up to the age of 12 and those who attend must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participants are asked to meet at 10.30am at the entrance to Longstone Manor. As there is very limited parking at the Manor site, it is recommended people park in the arboretum car park and walk either along the road or the inner reservoir footpath allowing 15 minutes.

Please bring a jumper and coat and wear footwear you do not mind getting muddy.

Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment and there is a cost of £1 per person.
