DESPITE heavy rainfall and high winds the people of Tavistock turned out in high numbers last Saturday to support their local charity, Tavistock Area Support Services, at their charity Christmas fair.

As usual, 'Friends of TASS' supplied goods that were of high quality, well displayed, and all at very good prices, resulting in over £1,000 being raised on the day.

This money will be donated to TASS to assist them in their work in the area assisting the elderly, those with mobility problems and the socially isolated.

For anyone who may have been unable to get to us last Saturday we will be displaying our 'wares' this Saturday, December 1, at Tavistock Pannier Market's 'Aladdin's Fair'. Please come along to support your local charity.
