THIS game provided end to end rugby from two well matched sides. Okes' Will opened the score with a quick try from the opening whistle which was converted by Billy. Barnstaple soon responded with a try.
The Oke forwards, despite being a lighter pack, held their own in the scrum, with Matt having a good game at hooker and Jack Williams picked up from the back of the scrum and darted over the line to score a try.
The second half Barnstaple responded with another try which was converted. Zac P had a strong game at full back and was the next player to cross the line and again Billy converted. Both sides defended strongly and in the closing minutes Barnstaple again crossed the line and converted to level the score.
