With no Carlsberg South Western League game Darren Babb slotted into the centre back position and former first teamer Aaron Fadida made a welcome return to Langsford Park.
The Lambs found themselves a goal down after five minutes when Tavistock keeper Craig Howells could only parry a fierce shot that fell kindly to Dean Webb to slot home.
The Lambs had many chances to get back on level terms in the first half. Fadida went close and Richard Searle got past the keeper only to have his shot cleared off the line. Howells kept the Lambs in the game with a string of saves.
The second half again saw chances spurned by both sides but the Lambs continued to press and got their deserved equaliser with Fadida getting the final touch in a goalmouth scramble.
A welcome point but it was a below par performance with several players having an off-day.
l Fixtures: Another blank Saturday for the Carlsberg Squad but the P&D side are at home to Plympton with a 2.15pm kick off. Sunday sees the U18s at home to Torpoint with a 2pm kick-off.
The Carlsberg squad are in midweek action when they take on Falmouth Town at Langsford Park on Wednesday December 18 with a 7.30pm kick-off.
This is followed by the away trip to Penzance on Saturday 21st. Then they take on their two closest rivals in three days with the away trip to Liskeard on Thursday 26th followed by the Carlsberg Christmas Match of the Day on Saturday 28th at Langsford Park.
