THE explosive new comedy Bad Jazz by Robert Farquhar plays the Drum Theatre, Plymouth from Thursday February 22 to Saturday March 10, before touring the UK. Bad Jazz is a play about a group of desperados who come together in pursuit of a shared dream. Its setting is the wannabe culture where everything is possible as long as you want it hard enough. But in a world that seems to have no consequences — how far are you prepared to go for fame? For sex? For art? Natasha is an actress but what she is asked to do on stage is going way too far for boyfriend Ben. Guru director Gavin is pushing at the limits — but he isn't all he seems. Writer Hannah has a story to tell but it's not ringing true anymore, while actor Danny has a sexual appetite liable to land him in trouble. Deliberately provocative, Bad Jazz pushes boundaries not only amongst the characters but the audience too. Box office: 01752 267222.
