PEOPLE are being asked to give their views on plans to upgrade and add new attractions at the Tree Surfers site at Gulworthy.

The consultation event will take place on January 26.

The scheme designed for the site at the Tamar Trails Centre, Hanging Cliff Wood includes a new alpine toboggan ride and an upgraded ropes and nets course. The development will also provide open space and additional car parking spaces.

People are being asked what they think about the proposed scheme, which is being promoted by Zip World Ltd.

Residents and interested parties can find out more information about the proposed development and express their views at the event which takes place from 2pm to 7pm.

The Tree Surfers course is enjoyed by those of all ages including families, friends, couples, corporate groups and parties. In addition to the high ropes course, the centre offers junior high ropes plus archery, children’s games and canoeing (which runs from Cotehele Quay) — all of which take place during school holidays.

The 25km of expansive and interlinking trails are utilised all year round and are a popular hotspot for walkers, runners and cyclists and additionally play host a parkrun group every Saturday morning for runners of all abilities.
