A WEST Devon holiday park has been awarded a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence after receiving glowing reviews on the world's largest travel site.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. Only the top-performing 10% of businesses listed receive the award.

Woodovis Park at Gulworthy is owned and operated by John and Dorothy Lewis and a dedicated team of eight.

Mr Lewis said: 'Customer service is our top priority at Woodovis Park. Holidaymakers may not naturally associate camping with first class hospitality but we do everything we can to exceed expectations and make this a fantastic place to stay.

'This seal of approval from TripAdvisor reflects consistently positive feedback from our guests and has left the whole team delighted.'
