TWO events are taking place at Brimpts Farm in Dartmeet next month. The first is being held on Saturday, January 19 and is part of a working party for the plantation. Participants have been asked to bring waterproofs, warm clothes, stout boots, a packed lunch and gardening gloves, to help clear out the leat and wheelpit. Then on Monday, January 21 at the farm, a free event is being held to encourage farmers to manage their woodlands for the generation of wood fuel — organised by The Silvanus Trust.
