YOUNGSTERS, parents and members of the community are invited to help celebrate National Youth Work Week, with food, games and live entertainment this weekend.

The community open event, Celebrating Youth Work in Okehampton, is a chance to find out more about youth work in the area, the services on offer and opportunities to get involved.

Live music, a pool challenge, Nintendo Wii competition, displays and information and free refreshments will be on offer at the event, which takes place this Saturday (November 6).

The celebratory event is free and will take place at Room 13, St James Street, Okehampton, from 11am to 2pm.
