Those supporters of the march who attended from the South West now know what the region?s MEPs thinks of them. I presume Mr Chichester would also describe those who took part in peace demonstrations in various South West cities and towns as ?the great unwashed?.
Perhaps Giles Chichester would not have made this statement in February 2004, a few months prior to the European election!
