ALYSON and Chamaine Blamey of the Collytown Shetland Stud, Bere Alston are delighted that one of their home bred stallions 'Collytown Valentino' is to represent the Shetland Pony breed at the forthcoming South West Equine Fair taking place at West Point, Exeter.

The show takes place over the weekend of the December 3 and 4. The fair boasts more than 150 trade stands, with demonstrations, exhibitions, entertainment and appearances from top name riders.

Valentino is a five year-old registered pedigree miniature Shetland standing at 32 inches tall, a supreme show champion and multi-prize winner at county level.

His owners said: 'He is very eye catching with his wonderful free flowing movement and high knee action highlighted by his four matching socks, he has a lovely temperament and is a real pleasure to own.'

Valentino is one of seven stallions currently owned by the stud which is home to more than 100 ponies.

Collytown Valentino will be appearing on Sunday, December 4 as part of the native breed stallion parade.
