MORWELLHAM Quay is pleased to announce that local folk-rock heroes Equation will headline the first Morwellham folk night 'Folk on the Quay' on Friday August 2.
This will be their only UK gig this summer before they set off on an American tour and will feature songs from their new album "First Name Terms'.
Equation recently used the Tamar Valley tourist attraction for a photo-shoot for the cover of the album.
The band enjoyed dressing up in Victorian costume so much that they did think of re-naming the CD 'Sailor Boy", but they say they have no plans to perform in costume!
Also featuring at the festival will be Plymouth-based bluegrass band 'The Blackfoot Brothers', local acoustic quartet 'Hannah and the Madding Crowd', and stalwarts of the Plymouth folk scene 'Mad Rush'.
