TAVISTOCK mother and entrepreneur Jenny Adjene has earned herself a place in the final line-up of the Mumpreneur Awards — an annual ceremony aimed at celebrating parents throughout the UK who manage the difficult task of juggling business with family life.

The mother of two runs Hip Hop Hooray (hiphiphooray.com), a website offering print-your-own and printed wedding and party stationary such as invitations, thank you cards and more.

Jenny has been shortlisted for the 'wired' category, which is open to businesses who predominantly trade online. Having launched Hip Hip Hooray in March this year, the business is going from strength to strength and has also been nominated for 'best wedding stationary' in the national Perfect Wedding Magazine awards.

Jenny was delighted to have made such an impact online in only six months.

As well as being shortlisted for this category, Jenny is also in with a chance of winning the title of the Inspirational Business Mum 2014, which will be awarded to the mum who is an inspiration to all women in business and could walk away with a fantastic prize.

Having reached the finals of the Mumpreneur Awards, Jenny said: 'I'm delighted to have been recognised for my achievements in setting up and running an innovative online business. It's been a whirlwind six months since we launched and this has been the icing on the cake — we couldn't be more excited for the future.'

Judging Jenny's entry will be a panel of top entrepreneurs but she's have to wait until November 8, when the winners will be announced at the Mumpreneur Conference and Awards, being held in Warwickshire.

This event is open to all parents who juggle family and business and also for those interested in taking the plunge and starting up.
