CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) this week announced they are hosting 'An evening with David Gower' on Thursday October 9 at the Holiday Inn Plymouth.

It will be a pinnacle fundraising event for CHICKS, when they hope to raise funds to give disadvantaged children from across the UK a well deserved break in the South West.

The evening will start at 7pm with a drinks reception followed by a delicious three course meal and after dinner talk by David Gower. There will be an auction, raffle and the evening will conclude with a disco.

Roy Endacott. chief executive of CHICKS said: 'We are delighted that David is giving his time to come to Devon to help us raise funds in this way, he has a very busy schedule and is spending much of his time filming for Sky TV.

'It will be a fun and relaxed evening and we hope many people will support us.'
