ALL LADIES — and men who like dressing up as ladies! — are being sought to take part in a fundraising event at Treesurfers in Gulworthy.
The charity event in May, the first to take place at Treesurfers, is being held by the George Appeal, which is raising money for the antenatal department at Derriford Hospital.
Although it is being called a ladies' event, the charity is allowing ten men 'in drag' to take part as a bit of fun — and interest has already been received.
Tree surfers is described as an adrenaline-pumping, heart-thumping tree-top adventure where participants will be able to test their limits and get a natural high. The 40-minute course involves zip wires, a series of wobbly bridges, Tarzan swings and balancing beams.
Anyone wishing to take part is being asked to pay £18 registration fee and if possible to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship. For more information email Kathy Davies of the George Appeal at davieskathyhotmail.co.uk
