A NEW initiative aimed at increasing the uptake of energy efficient measures by private sector landlords was launched in Tavistock this week.
PLEA — Private Landlords for Energy Action, is a West Devon Borough Council scheme, co-ordinated by the Devon Energy Efficiency Advice Centre. It is hoped PLEA will provide a 'one-stop shop' for private sector landlords to get information about government grants and discounts on a range of home energy efficiency measures for their rented properties.
The scheme was launched at the West Devon Landlords' Forum on Monday at the borough's offices in Tavistock.
