CHILDREN of all ages can join in a voyage of discovery into the wonderful world of books this summer at their local library. Youngsters who join the Reading Voyage will be given their own personal Ship?s Reading Log, packed with puzzles and challenges to complete over the summer by collecting stickers and incentives. The voyage starts today (Thursday) with certificates and medals to be awarded to all those who complete their log books. Okehampton Library will also be running a series of craft and story times and a competition during the holidays. Call into the library for further details. Summer storytimes for under 5s will be held every Tuesday at 2.30pm. Joining the library is free and if your child is not a member of a Devon library and joins during the holidays, their name will be entered into a draw to win a ticket to Living Coasts, Torquay?s coastal zoo.
