LAST Sunday saw eight junior members from Tavistock Athletic Club represent Devon in a five-county competition.
The eight, Kayleigh Wonnacott, Grace Perry, Emma Passmore, Sarah Guy, Kathryn Dalton, Lizzy Bently, Jimmy Hubbard and Adam Waddle, all acquitted themselves really well and the experience they have gained in the last 18 months is now coming to the fore.
It was billed as the CGM Festival of Fun but competition was extremely fierce and all had to be at their very best.
In the girls' competition they won easily by beating Cornwall into second place.
The boys also did well by coming second. A full list of results will feature next week.
