CHILDREN are invited to come and join in a session of activities on an Egyptian theme at Okehampton Library.
The special craft session takes place on Tuesday, February 25 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Children aged between five and 10 years old can come along and make a cartouche ? an oval emblem of an ancient Egyptian king, learn some hieroglyphyphy and have a chance to try on some Egyptian costume.
Okehampton Library also runs a story time every Friday for under-fives at 2.30pm.
There is also a regular Bounce and Rhyme session for babies and toddlers to join in, clap and wiggle to.
Starting on Tuesday, March 25 and every fourth Tuesday there will be a craft session for parents and toddlers running from 2.30pm to 3pm.
A library spokesperson said: ?All are welcome at these sessions ? and they are free.?
