NATIONALLY acclaimed artist Zoot Francis is exhibiting her work in Chagford this month.

The exhibition comprises an eclectic mix of paintings from the ups and downs of Zoot's life, from 'No Tell Motel' to the bears, elephants and tropical birds of her homeland.

Some paintings depict backstage life and the festivals of the '60s; others, evidence of her unusual upbringing.

The exhibition at the Shamanka Gallery and Holistic Centre in Chagford runs until the end of September, and is open Monday to Saturday. For more information call 01647 433777.
