SOUTH Zeal stretched their lead at the top of Inter 2 with this vital win over second-placed Motel.
This means that if Zeal win their remaining games they will finish champions.
Alan Brimacombe put Zeal ahead early on when Reg Wonnacott's long free kick opened up Rangers' defence.
An identical finish from Brimacombe five minutes later gave the home side a two-goal cushion.
Zeal's third came from Pillivant's deep corner when Wonnacott's header was flicked in by Alan Vile for 3-0.
Bellairs opened up the match defence and Steve Pillivant was brought down in the area for a penalty which he duly converted.
Zeal's fifth was created by Pillivant who intercepted a crossfield ball and his header put Brimacombe through for a well deserved hat-trick.
At 5-0 at half-time, Zeal were cruising until Motel pulled back to 5-3 in just ten minutes.
Leon Ware teased the crowd by heading into his own net with one minute left for 5-4, but Zeal came away with all three points.
