BOTH teams started slowly in heavy rain. Coombe Martin pushed forward and shot well only for it to be saved by Okehampton?s Robert Cockwill.
This was followed by a corner which also resulted in a fine save from Cockwill.
After several attempts at goal, Coombe Martin scored from a free kick.
Robert Dunn had a chance in the 18th minute, missing by a fraction. But in the 29th minute he got a goal which was skilfully set up by Tom Wilson.
The rain was making play difficult in the second half but both teams battled well.
Okehampton scored their second when Sam Appleby chipped the ball into the net.
The lead was short-lived as Coombe Martin equalised straight afterwards.
Chances from Dunn and Cameron Hansen were defended well by Coombe Martin and they had their own chance to go ahead in the 56th minute with a long shot which was brilliantly saved by Cockwill.
Okehampton saw the draw as a point gained rather than two dropped.
There was good play from Josh Ware, Tom Hall in defence, Cameron Hansen and Gareth Osman in mid -field.
