A FOOD and craft fair organised by business BTEC extended diploma students at Duchy College raised £778 for Help for Heroes.

Twenty-four exhibitors attended the event which was held at the Stoke Climsland campus.

Course manager Amy Perkins said: 'The aim of this exercise is to provide the students with the hands on experience of organising an event which will then be useful in industry.

'It develops their team work and communication skills as well as carrying out tasks individually and to a time scale. I am very pleased with the students for organising such a great event yet again — thank you to all the trade stand holders who attended and contributed to the success of the day.'
